In The Community

Westport Hospitality volunteers our time, experience, energy and talents for numerous local charities and events. We contribute to the synergy that is created when disparate people and organizations come together for the betterment of the greater Burlington community and Vermont. We believe our contributions, however large or small, do make a difference.

Westport also believes that service exists not only in the community but in the workplace as well. That is why we volunteer to not only help fellow employees, but our associates and leadership serve on internal committees aimed at improving the efficiency, profitability and the work environment of all Marriots. When asked to help in or out of the workplace, we find a way to say yes. Westport Hospitality was awarded the 2014 UNITED WAY "Campaign of the Year" award. An award that is presented to a workplace campaign that has achieved great results through campaign best practices. This award recognizes recipients for being informed and engaged about the needs of our community and how the United Way is bringing people to the table to work collectively to solve complex community problems.
